Network Topologies

What is Topology?
A topology is arrangement of various devices or same devices for communication. Distance between devices nodes, interconnection ,signal types different among networks, topology may be identical.

Types of Topology:

• Bus Topology: In this topology all devices connected to one single cable. If cable broke whole network stop.
• Star Topology: In this topology all devices connected to one central computer called hub. If two computer require to communicate, they need token that send by hub, each time communication through hub.
• Ring Topology: It does not mean that computer are arrange in circle. It means each computer node connect with two other nodes.Data travel node to node. Data travel through each node handling by a packet that contain require system information.
